Publisher's summary

I’m a prisoner in a prestigious world; a perfect princess locked in a tower. My father will never let me go.

Not that I could leave. I would never abandon my little sister. Hope comes in the form of a devilishly handsome man with dark eyes and darker secrets.

With each encounter, I’m lured deeper into the labyrinth. The danger lurking beneath his surface calls to me, even as it warns me away.

Except there’s a new side of him every time we meet. A different danger each time we touch. It’s as if three different men want to devour me.

He’s not just one villain. He’s three.

female narrator ruins this book

I can't take her voice and the way she speaks out a sentence, it feels like every word is breathtaking

Very dark. It good read

“I’m a pretty doll in an even prettier dollhouse. And he likes playing with his things.”

“Oh, I like her. I can see why my brothers are so enamored. She’s a fiery, devilish temptation all dolled up to look like an angel. The thing with angels, though, is they’re easy to drag to the dark side. You just give them a taste of sin or a gift of pleasure. Breaking their wings is a treat. Crushing their halo is like a taste of heaven itself. Welcome to the dark side, princess.”

“Her taste is foreign to me. Sugar laced with something addictive, like heroin. A sweet shot of obsession.”

I am a huge fan of K. Webster books. She is know for very taboo tropes/romances and this is exactly what this is. This was a really good read! Here we have three triplet alpha-holes who get put on a job to get close to Landry, the daughter of a tyrant billionaire, who is verbally, physically and sexually abusive to his daughters but they all three end up falling for her. The things these three do and say OMG! There are no limits to what they would do for her especially one triplet and you could not hate him for it! This one does leave you on a cliff hanger but so worth it the read!

This is a very dark romance.. So PLEASE check your TRIGGER WARNINGS!

Triple Threat

Triple Threat is a new dark romance by K Webster. This book is told from multiple points of view from Landry, Sully, Sparrow, and Scout.

Landry is trapped in her father's hold. She will do anything to protect her younger sister, especially from her father's wrath. When her father sends her to college she meets Ford Guy. Ford ends up being in some of her classes and ends up tutoring her younger sister.

As Landry gets to know Ford she believes he has a personality disorder, because every time she sees him he's a little different and doesn't always remember their past encounters.

Turns out Ford is really three triplets pretending to be one guy trying to get intel on Landry and her father. They were hired to do a job, but all end up having feelings for her.

Will Landry find out Ford is more than one person? Will she finally get out of her father's hold? Will she be able to save her sister from her dad's wrath?

Triplets!

This one is a little hard to rate since I found out after reading this that this is a spinoff from another series that even though they are stand alone series it would have been helpful to read just to get more of the back story. I could kind of tell that I was missing something. Teddy Hamilton does a great job as usual going between the triplets Scout, Sparrow and Sully but it was still a little confusing figuring out who was who throughout the story. It does end in a cliff hanger so beware of that.
Other than getting to understand Landry's story which is that she lives with her deaf sister and abusive rich father in a penthouse apartment in the City that she desperately wants to and needs to get away from him with her sister the romance part of the story is a little slow. She does have a connection with all three brothers that she believes to be one person with lots of secrets and possibly a personality disorder because she can tell there is something about him. As they continue to play the roles as they were instructed by their "Uncle" they each start to fall for her after spending time with her. There is a reverse harem in here somewhere but I guess that portion of the story is in the next book.

Disappointed

I listen to a book a day and I really had hopes for this one. I wish this was labeled as a multiple love interest as I was hoping for her to fall for one guy. while the premise to the story was interesting I was let down by the characters. why would the brothers having madek the mistake before with a single woman get in each others way again if they really loved each other. why would she take such risks with her Dad threatening her sister and herself. I just can't spend anymore on this series.

Frustrating pace/bully trope vibes

Ugh. So, the spice is 2/5🌶️. The story drags with much of the “fill in the blank” requirements for a pseudo bully trope. The book picks up speed at the end to set up the cliffhanger for book 2. I’m starting to feel like Teddy Hamilton is being used for every bully voice in these books🥺. It makes them feel even more cookie cutter. I sped through the middle of the book because of the predictability . The cliffhanger IS interesting enough that I’m probably going to get book 2 but… this is definitely not a memorable story so far. Book 2 seems set up for an RH with more 🌶️.
